Priyanka Shah serves as a Research Associate focused on healthcare, labor, and education issues. She assists the lobbying team and clients by drafting policy briefs, memos, and presentations; providing comprehensive congressional hearing coverage; monitoring relevant legislative and regulatory activity; and preparing a Weekly Healthcare Roundup, Daily COVID-19 Update, and Daily Dose summarizing the latest congressional and administrative news. She also composes Look Ahead memos to outline the state-of-play for upcoming congressional work periods and compiles background information to help clients prepare for meetings with members of Congress.
Prior to joining Peck Madigan Jones in the fall of 2015, Priyanka worked at the Maryland Department of Health as a Health Policy Analyst. She has over eight years of expertise in health policy analysis, research, information synthesis, health communications, health advocacy, and program and policy development, implementation, and management. She has also worked for think tanks, state and national non-profit, non-partisan, advocacy organizations.
Ms. Shah graduated Magna Cum Laude from George Washington University with a Master of Public Health, with a concentration in Health Policy.
